How does Oil Skimmer works?
A floating tube is positioned on the contaminated fluid surface. As the tube moves through the surface layer, it attracts and collects floating oil and oily contaminants while leaving most of the water, coolant, and emulsion behind. The collected oil is then separated and discharged for recovery or disposal.
Because the tube floats with the changing fluid level, the skimmer can continue operating without frequent manual adjustment. In machining applications, this continuous tramp oil removal helps maintain coolant quality and supports longer coolant service life.
